The Kawasaki Z900 is the first name that springs to mind when discussing heart-wrenching performance and the regal grace of a superbike. The 2025 Kawasaki Z900, the latest iteration of this fantastic bike, is already prepared for release and will have a more potent, intelligent, and contemporary appearance than its predecessor. You will be drawn to this bike if you have a strong passion for speed.
Preparations for launch in India and price

In late 2024, Kawasaki Z900 debuted the updated Z900, and now that its patent has been submitted in India, it seems obvious that Indian roads will soon witness this motorcycle. The new model is anticipated to cost between ₹9.50 lakh and ₹10 lakh (ex-showroom), whereas the current model is priced at ₹9.38 lakh. Additionally, until March 31, 2025, the company is giving the old model a discount of up to ₹40,000.
New design and fresh look
The first thing that stands out about the new Kawasaki Z900 is its new appearance. It is even more aggressive thanks to the new triple-pod LED headlamp cluster in the front. It has a royal athletic vibe with to the muscular fuel tank, floating tail section, and metallic carbon grey details on the side fairing. Its sporty spirit is expressed by the metal underbelly bash plate and double barrel exhaust.
Great combination of features and technology
With features including a lean angle indicator, Bluetooth connectivity, and Kawasaki’s new Rideology app that allows voice commands and turn-by-turn navigation, the 2025 Kawasaki Z900 will now include a 5-inch colored TFT display. The best part is that cruise control has been included this time as well.
Features of the performance version
Akrapovic’s carbon sports exhaust, tank pad, single seat cover, and huge smoke meter screen are among the accessories that elevate this bike to a new level if you choose the Performance edition.
Engine and Ride Experience
The same 948cc inline-4 cylinder engine, which is now 16% more fuel efficient than it was previously, powers the Z900. Euro 5+ regulations have, however, resulted in a modest reduction in power; the bike now generates 123 horsepower and 97.4 Nm of torque. Standard features include a bi-directional quickshifter and a 6-speed gearbox. Sport, Road, Rain, and Rider are the four ride modes available on the bike.
Suspension and Braking

Ohlins provides adjustable suspension for the Performance variant, while the ordinary version has the identical configuration but no adjustment. The rear has 250mm single discs and the front has 300mm twin discs. Brembo M4.32 calipers are included with the Performance variant.
