A distinct passion for panoramic sunroofs in family SUVs is prevalent among Indian consumers. Now, Hyundai has included this high-end function in the diesel variant of the well-liked seven-seater SUV 2025 Hyundai Alcazar. Alcazar is now an even more alluring and cost-effective choice as a result.
New Corporate Variant Entry of Luxury in Diesel
Hyundai has introduced the new Hyundai Alcazar Corporate Trim, with a starting price of ₹17.87 lakh. This version features both a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox and is only available in a 7-seater form. Previously available exclusively in petrol trims, the Alcazar’s diesel variant now has the same luxury feel.
Why was the sunroof added now
In the past, the Hyundai Alcazar diesel did not have a sunroof in order to reduce weight and improve mileage. By reducing its weight by roughly 50 kg, the business was able to give it a mileage of almost 20 kmpl. However, Hyundai has since reversed their choice after realizing the Indian market’s need for panoramic sunroofs.
The list of features got even longer
Along with various high-end amenities like LED headlamps, 17-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone air conditioning, ambient lighting, a 10.25-inch touchscreen (with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto), a wireless charging, six airbags, and ESC, the corporate version also comes with a panoramic sunroof.
Engine Performance, Powerful and reliable
The 1.5-liter engine of the Hyundai Alcazar diesel generates 116 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque. This engine provides a smooth driving experience and exceptional fuel efficiency, making it an ideal option for lengthy trips.
Petrol DCT variant also became cheaper now
The Hyundai Prestige petrol engine model, which costs ₹18.64 lakh, now includes a 7-speed DCT transmission. It was previously only offered in the Platinum trim, which started at ₹20.94 lakh, but it is now ₹2.30 lakh less expensive than it was.
