Kia has unveiled a new version of its flagship electric SUV, the Kia EV9. In addition to a wider variety of options, the 2025 model gains a new and fashionable Nightfall Edition that enhances its character.
Range improvements make the Kia EV9 even more reliable
The 2025 EV9 GT-Line model’s maximum running distance is 451 km, an increase of almost 16 kilometers. The Light LR now has a range of 491 km, while the Land and Wind trims now have a range of 455 km. A 76.1kWh battery powers the Light SR model, while the bigger 99.8kWh battery powers the other variants. The GT-Line, which has a 561 km range (ARAI), is the sole version of the EV9 that is currently offered in India.
New Nightfall Edition: A dark-themed luxury
The EV9 Land model is the only one to receive the Nightfall Edition. It receives 20-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and a new Roadrider Brown color with black badging. The interior is particularly noteworthy because of its distinctive stitching and black theme.
Power increased by Boost Mode
Additionally, this version now includes a unique Boost Mode that boosts torque to 700Nm, the same as the GT-Line. This significantly improves its performance.
What to expect in India
Only the GT-Line trim is currently offered in India, but Kia may eventually introduce this incredible Nightfall Edition there as well.
