Where News Means Trust

Corrections Policy

At Patrika Times, we are committed to delivering accurate, reliable, and trustworthy journalism. However, if an error occurs, we believe in correcting it transparently and promptly. This Corrections Policy explains how we handle mistakes, updates, and user feedback.

1. Our Commitment to Accuracy

  • Every article is verified before publishing.
  • If an error is identified—either by our team or by readers—we take immediate action.
  • Accuracy is our highest priority, and corrections are made as soon as possible.

2. Types of Corrections We Make

We correct various kinds of inaccuracies, including:

  • Incorrect facts or data
  • Misspelled names
  • Wrong dates, places, or numbers
  • Misquoted statements
  • Incomplete or unclear information
  • Outdated information that requires updates

We never hide or ignore errors, no matter how small.

3. How Corrections Are Displayed

a) Minor Corrections

Small fixes such as grammar, spelling, or formatting updates are made within the article without a correction note, unless the meaning changes.

b) Major Corrections

When an important fact or detail is corrected, we:

  • Add a Correction Note at the bottom of the article
  • Mention what was changed
  • Update the timestamp
"Correction (Updated on 12 Dec 2025): This article previously misstated the launch date. The correct date is 7 May 2024."

c) Updated Articles

If a story is expanded or updated with new information:

  • We add an Updated Note at the top or bottom
  • We mention what new details were added
"Update: Additional information about the government statement has been added."

4. Reader Feedback & Reporting Errors

We encourage readers to report any errors they find.

If you spot a mistake, please email us at:

Email: patrikatimes2@gmail.com

Include:

  • Article link
  • Description of the error
  • Suggested correction (if any)

Our editorial team reviews all correction requests within 24–48 hours.

5. Transparency in Corrections

  • We do not delete articles to hide mistakes.
  • Corrections are made publicly and clearly.
  • We never modify content secretly after publication.
  • All corrections follow ethical and editorial guidelines.

6. Responsibility & Accountability

  • Writers and editors take responsibility for accuracy.
  • Repeated mistakes are reviewed internally and may lead to retraining or action.
  • The Managing Editor oversees all corrections and ensures transparency.

Our Promise

At Patrika Times, correcting errors is not just a responsibility — it is our commitment to integrity.

  • Admit mistakes honestly
  • Correct them quickly
  • Inform readers clearly
  • Maintain transparency at all times

Your trust matters to us, and we continuously work to uphold it.
